Very Important Information

Worker's Compensation coverage is extended through a master or multi-coordinated policy.   After the initial set up of your account, it is imperative that you follow these procedures. Otherwise, you could potentially find that a new employee is not covered for Worker's Compensation.

You must add all employees prior to reporting wages.   You will receive an e-mail verification with a verification code.  If you don't have a verification code, the employee will not be covered.

All new hires will need to sign and complete the set up information provided.   If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us

Staff Pro - Step By Step Procedures

First Step - Company Enrollment

Our client services team will reveiw your current payroll, human resource and worker's compensation safety practices.   You will be guided through the initial enrollment by a member of our sales and marketing team or your local insurance agent.

Second Step - Report First Payroll

Your payroll will be processed through our exclusive platform which is powered by Ovation Payroll.  You will have access to online reports and you will have a dedicated payroll technician for your processing.  The payroll technician will have specific information about your company payroll practices including employee level withholding and deductions.

Third Step - New Hires

Use the links below to add employees.  Your initial employee information was gathered during the Company Enrollment but as you add new employees, you will need to gather set up forms at the employee level and upload these documents to your customer service representative.
Each year, nearly 25% of the working population undergoes some type of career transition. Turnover is expensive, so it’s important to support new employees with comprehensive onboarding to ensure their success. Onboarding is the process by which new hires get adjusted to the social and performance aspects of their jobs quickly and smoothly, and learn the attitudes, knowledge, skills, and behaviors required to function effectively within an organization.  This new report will explain how onboarding fits into the larger business context, what new employees can do to help facilitate their own orientation process, and why onboarding is a critical part of an effective talent management strategy.
